Of the available earrings in this collection, this most represents the traditional woman's earring. The opposite side of the shell is shown in alternate image. As I cut my abalone shells, I am torn between the inside or the outer side of the shell. Very often, the shell speaks for itself. The same thing holds for the use of the deer hide lacing and accent woven beads.
